If you are a California resident — or just want the same protections — this page is where you exercise your right under the CCPA/CPRA to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Here is exactly what that means at CaptchaSonic and how to act on it.

1. The short, honest version

We do not sell your personal information for money. Full stop. Under California law, certain analytics and cross-context advertising can count as "sharing" even without cash changing hands. The only place that could ever apply at CaptchaSonic is the optional analytics and marketing cookies — and those are off until you explicitly opt in.

2. Two ways to opt out

Pick whichever is easier — both are immediate and free:

  • Global Privacy Control (automatic): Turn on GPC in a supported browser or extension and you are done. We detect the signal on every visit and treat it as a verified opt-out — analytics and marketing stay off and the choice is saved for you.
  • The consent banner (manual): Open it any time, hit Reject, or untoggle Analytics and Marketing and Save choices. . Your preference is stored locally and applies the moment you save.

3. Your other CCPA/CPRA rights

Opting out is just one of several rights you hold:

  • Right to know: Ask what categories of personal information we collect and why.
  • Right to delete: Delete your account and associated data — self-serve under Settings → Privacy, or by request.
  • Right to correct: Fix inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • No retaliation: We will never degrade your service, pricing, or support for exercising any of these rights.

4. Authorized agents

You can name an authorized agent to submit an opt-out or rights request for you. We may ask you to verify your identity and to confirm the agent has your permission, so we hand your data to the right person and no one else.
